Max Giusti reportedly in line to host Passaparola comeback

Italian broadcaster Mediaset has announced that the quiz show Passaparola will return next season.

It has not said who will host it.

Max Giusti is reportedly a leading candidate, and a pilot episode is said to have been recorded.

The quiz is strongly associated with Gerry Scotti, who hosted it for years.

Some people commenting on social media say they would prefer Scotti or Amadeus, while others oppose Giusti hosting.

Giusti has previously taken over from Scotti on other programmes and currently hosts Caduta Libera and The Wall.

The debate is happening before Mediaset confirms its choice, and the host announcement is still to come.
