Lisa Eder and Manuel Fettner marry in Austria

Austrian ski jumpers Lisa Eder and Manuel Fettner married on Sunday in Leogang, their home country.

Eder, 25, has reached the World Cup podium 16 times and won twice.

She will compete as Lisa Fettner next season, taking her husband’s surname.

Fettner, 41, retired from competition after last season and won team gold and individual silver at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

A dispute over Fettner’s coaching role led Eder to announce her retirement in April.

The Austrian Ski Federation later brought Fettner onto its coaching staff, and Eder reversed her decision to retire in August.

Fettner will coach Eder as she returns to the World Cup next season.
