Jennifer Lawrence Confirms Return as Katniss in ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’
Jennifer Lawrence will return as Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming film “Sunrise on the Reaping.”
She said the reunion with Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson was emotional, and described working again with the familiar crew as “so beautiful.”
The film is a prequel set 24 years before the original story, and centers on young Haymitch Abernathy, played by Joseph Zada.
Haymitch competes in the 50th Hunger Games, the contest he survived before becoming a mentor to Katniss and Peeta.
