Quruli frontman Shigeru Kishida announces marriage to horn player Sena Yonezaki

Quruli frontman Shigeru Kishida announced he is marrying horn player Sena Yonezaki on November 2.

Kishida, 50, shared the news on X, and the couple also posted a statement.

They first met at a music event in Kyoto in 2017, where Kishida heard Yonezaki play horn during rehearsal.

He later contacted her to play on his song “Shio-kaze no Aria,” written during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their work together grew into a relationship built on trust and shared views about music, Kishida said.

He said they are both happy and noted that neither is marrying for the first time.

Kishida asked people to respect their families’ privacy, including their children, and not to speculate about their private lives.

The couple did not give further details about the marriage.
