Samsung may bring Galaxy S27 launch back to January or February
Samsung may bring the Galaxy S27 series back to its usual January–February launch window after the S26 arrived in late February and went on sale in early March.
The S24 and S25 generations were both announced in January and launched by early February.
Most major hardware decisions for the S27 lineup are reportedly made, but the memory plans are still under discussion.
Earlier plans called for the standard S27 and S27+ to use LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.x storage, while the Pro and Ultra were expected to get newer LPDDR6 and UFS 5.
The faster components could improve performance and power efficiency, but rising memory costs may lead Samsung to hold back those upgrades.
That could affect how much more the S27 phones cost, as Samsung has not confirmed their prices or final specifications.
Samsung also has not said whether the S27 Ultra will use a Snapdragon or Exynos processor.
