Hwang Jung-eum says she struggled to love dogs after losing Peach

South Korean actor Hwang Jung-eum spoke about her love for her dogs in a video on her YouTube channel.

She recalled Peach, a dog who was by her side during drama shoots and trips for filming.

Peach died at the age of 14, Hwang said.

She described Peach as her first and last love and said she found it hard to bond with dogs after the loss.

Her sons kept asking for a dog, and their current dogs joined the family.

Walking with the dogs and seeing her sons enjoy them helped Hwang gradually open her heart again.
