Macaulay Culkin cancels sold-out Australian tour

Macaulay Culkin has cancelled his Australian tour just weeks before it was due to begin.

The former child star was scheduled to visit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney from November 24 to 30 for screenings of Home Alone followed by live interviews with fans.

The tour was cancelled because of a scheduling conflict, according to a statement from Culkin’s team.

Demand had been high, and an extra Sydney show was added after earlier shows sold out.

The events were planned around Home Alone, the film in which Culkin became famous as a child playing Kevin McCallister.

Ticket holders will receive automatic full refunds through the original payment method, including for eligible add-ons.

Ticketek advised customers to check their email for details, and said no action is needed to receive the refund.
