Astra Wins Award for Its Rural Empowerment Programme
Astra International won a 2026 award for its work on sustainability and rural empowerment in Indonesia.
Its Desa Sejahtera Astra programme had reached 1,533 villages across 35 provinces and 3 million people by 2025.
The programme aims to strengthen village economies by building local skills, developing higher-value products and improving access to markets.
