Temu survey finds 91% of Korean sellers report business improvements

Temu said 91% of surveyed Korean sellers saw business improvements after joining its platform.

The company surveyed more than 100 sellers in August, and 58% said sales or revenue increased while 47% said they gained new customers.

Most respondents were small businesses, with 85% employing fewer than 50 people.

Nearly all, 94%, were already selling on other platforms before joining Temu.

Temu entered South Korea in July 2023 and launched a local seller program in May 2025 to help domestic businesses sell to consumers nationwide.

The program aims to help sellers reach new customers, including those with limited brand recognition.

Temu said it will use sellers’ feedback to improve the support it provides.
