Three dramatic finales produce two defeats and a record chase

Three separate finals on the German quiz show Gefragt – Gejagt had dramatic outcomes.

In an episode dated August 15, 2024, chaser Adriane Rickel caught a team that had scored 22 points, despite making mistakes herself.

Rickel became the first chaser to win after a team scored more than 20 points, setting a show record.

In another final, Thomas Kinne needed one more second to catch a team of four, but his last answer came too late and the contestants won.

Kinne lost by one second after answering a question about the color of Snoopy’s ears.

Sebastian Jacoby, known as one of the show’s strongest chasers, also lost when he guessed Lisbon instead of Porto on the final question.

Two chasers were beaten in close finishes, while Rickel’s result showed how difficult a high-scoring team can be to catch.

The episodes’ winners were congratulated by host Alexander Bommes, and the sources give no further developments.
