Jimenez's Goal Gives Spezia a 1-0 Win Over Ravenna

Spezia beat Ravenna 1-0 in a top-of-the-table Serie C match at Ravenna’s Benelli stadium.

Kaleb Jimenez scored the winner in the 57th minute, striking from about 25 metres with his left foot.

Ravenna had played with 10 men since the 24th minute, when Lorenzo Da Pozzo was sent off.

Jimenez, a Spanish player born in Milan, had come on at half-time for Spezia.

The win took Spezia to 28 points and an eight-point lead over Ravenna after 10 rounds.

It strengthened Spezia’s position at the top, while Ravenna missed the chance to close the gap.
