Coupang’s mobile health checks reach more than 2,500 people
Coupang provided free health checks to about 300 residents in Yeoncheon County, South Korea, on October 28.
The mobile service offered medical care in several fields, along with blood and bone-density tests and checks for dementia and depression.
The team also visited a village inside a civilian-controlled zone, where residents may find it difficult to reach medical facilities.
The visit was part of Coupang’s “On-Dongne Care” program, which began in April in Jangsu County.
The program has reached more than 2,500 people across six regions so far.
That matters because it brings health checks to residents who may have trouble getting to medical providers.
