Silent Hill remake reportedly targeting a 2027 release

Bloober Team and Konami are reportedly targeting 2027 for a remake of the original Silent Hill.

The game is based on the 1999 PlayStation horror title, and Konami announced the remake in 2025.

A leak says development began in 2022, but release plans can change and neither company has confirmed the reported date.

Actors Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew are reportedly part of the cast, though their roles have not been identified.

The lead character Harry Mason’s actor is also unconfirmed.

Konami has said it wants to release a new Silent Hill game each year, and recent projects include Silent Hill 2’s remake, Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall.

The remake could continue that run and begin a second wave of Silent Hill projects, but no further details or next steps have been announced.
