Premada Oorali Enters Top 10 Kannada Films by India Box Office
Kannada film Premada Oorali earned Rs 3 crore on its 22nd day in Indian cinemas, according to box-office estimates.
Its reported 22-day total is Rs 68.37 crore net, while estimates of its gross total differ: one puts it at Rs 80.63 crore and another at Rs 74.25 crore.
The film has overtaken Kaatera to enter the top 10 Kannada films by India earnings, based on net collections.
It opened with only 60 shows in India but built its audience over several weeks, holding many screenings even as new films arrived.
Its steady run has made it one of Kannada cinema's biggest recent box-office successes, despite competition from releases including Jailer 2.
It is projected to pass Rs 100 crore gross over its full run, though that remains a forecast rather than a confirmed final total.
The film's eventual standing will depend on how much it earns in the coming weeks.
