NSW Police offer $250,000 reward to locate Anthony Pele

NSW Police are offering a $250,000 reward for information that helps locate Anthony Pele, a 25-year-old fugitive.

Pele is believed to be in Vietnam, after leaving Australia in 2023.

Police allege he leads the self-proclaimed Coconut Cartel and has helped coordinate attacks on rival crime groups in Sydney.

They also allege he shot dead an innocent bystander in Greenacre in 2023, mistaking the victim for a rival.

Since fleeing, Pele has been linked to alleged drug thefts and importations, and a foiled kidnapping plot.

Police want information that can help bring him back to Australia to face justice, and say they are working with international partners to find him.
