Serbian tennis player given 24-year ban for match-fixing
The ITIA has banned Serbian player Stefan Milicevic for 24 years over tennis match-fixing charges.
The 29-year-old was charged with fixing six matches, including five he played in, and trying to fix six more between 2022 and 2024.
The agency also said he recruited or tried to recruit other players, and that some players in the network fixed matches.
Milicevic reached a career-high ranking of 1,338 and played in lower-tier professional events.
He did not cooperate with the investigation, the ITIA said, which contributed to the severity of the sanction.
He is barred from tennis until October 2050, including playing, coaching or attending events covered by the ban.
