Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Set for Second Half of 2027

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is now planned for the second half of 2027, its producer Masayuki Hirano has confirmed.

The game was previously announced for 2027, and a PlayStation video had suggested it could arrive in early 2027.

Hirano said the team reviewed player feedback and survey results and has discussed areas for improvement with the developers.

The game is being made for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam.

The later release window gives the team more time to prepare both the launch game and content planned for after release.

The sequel is set 148 years after Xenoverse 2 and features a new generation of heroes in a technologically advanced West City.

The team says it may be some time before its next update, but has not given a more specific release date.
