Seahawks visit Broncos in Thursday night matchup

The Seattle Seahawks visited the Denver Broncos in a Thursday Night Football game.

Both teams entered with records of three wins and two losses, and Seattle was the defending Super Bowl champion.

Denver's offense has struggled to make long plays, ranking 31st in the NFL with 11 plays of at least 20 yards.

Coach Sean Payton took back playcalling duties from offensive coordinator Davis Webb after four games.

Seattle's defense has helped cover offensive flaws: the Seahawks lead the league with 11 takeaways and 44 points scored after turnovers.

Seattle's offense ranked eighth in points per game, but was rated poorly on two measures of efficiency.
