BCCI moves IPL 2027 player retention deadline to November 17

BCCI moves IPL 2027 player retention deadline to November 17

The BCCI has given IPL teams two extra days to decide which players to retain for the 2027 season.

The ten franchises now have until November 17 to finalise their retention and release lists.

The earlier deadline was November 15, which clashed with the fifth ODI between India and New Zealand.

The 2027 season is a mini-auction year, with no limit on how many players teams can retain.

The auction is scheduled for December 16 in Goa, and player registrations opened on November 2.

Players can register until November 23, and teams must submit their final auction choices by December 1.

The final auction register is due on December 3, while the auction remains scheduled for December 16.
