Türkiye reports tourism revenue growth despite regional crises
Türkiye’s Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said the country’s tourism sector has stayed stable despite regional crises.
He pointed to the Russia-Ukraine war, the war in Iran and developments in the Gulf region.

The country has taken steps since 2018 to make the sector more resilient, including developing new markets and promoting a wider range of tourism options.
Cancellations after the war in Iran began were offset through promotional work and sales campaigns, he said.
