Broncos beat Cardinals 30-16 as Bo Nix scores on 62-yard run

The Denver Broncos beat the Arizona Cardinals 30-16 in Glendale on Sunday.

Bo Nix broke free for a 62-yard touchdown run, the longest run of his career, just before halftime.

He also threw for 222 yards and a touchdown as Denver improved to 6-2.

Coach Sean Payton reaffirmed that Nix is the Broncos’ quarterback amid criticism of his play and questions about whether ankle surgeries had affected his running.

Denver had struggled to make long plays earlier in the season, but the team produced four plays of at least 20 yards against Arizona, besides Nix’s run.

The Broncos hope this performance points to a more productive offense, though the sources do not say what will happen in their next game.
