Prabhas film Spirit moves to Diwali 2027
Prabhas’s film Spirit is now scheduled for October 29, 2027, during Diwali, after its release date was changed.
The action drama is written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and also stars Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Desai.
Prabhas will play an IPS officer, a senior rank in India’s police service.
The new date puts the film in a major holiday period when cinemas often draw large audiences.
Spirit is scheduled to open on the same day as Ramayana Part Two, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi.
The two films could compete for audiences, but the final release schedules will determine whether the clash goes ahead.

The action thriller was previously scheduled to open on March 5, 2027.
