Antipa finds high-grade gold in previously unsampled Minyari core

Antipa Minerals found a high-grade gold interval in old core from its Minyari project in Western Australia.

The previously unsampled section measured 22 metres and averaged 8.2 grams of gold per tonne, including a shorter, richer section.

The result supports a shallow gold zone that the company says has also appeared in nearby drill holes.

New drilling at GEO-01, WACA and Rizzo has found mineralisation beyond areas already defined.

Minyari Dome contains 2.5 million ounces of gold in its resource, while the wider project has a reported 2.9 million ounces of gold.

Drilling has also identified more targets at Tim’s Dome and Chicken Ranch, which are part of the project.

Two rigs remain active, and further drilling is planned to test the newly identified zones.

The 22m at 8.2 g/t gold assay result at Minyari is an excellent result from previously unsampled core within the deposit area

At the same time, the latest drilling at GEO-01, WACA and Rizzo continues to identify opportunities to extend mineralisation beyond zones that we’ve currently defined.
