LeBron James scores eight points in 76ers' loss to Cavaliers

LeBron James scored eight points as the Philadelphia 76ers lost 119-95 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in an NBA Cup game in Cleveland.

It was James’s first return to Cleveland since joining Philadelphia in the offseason.

The 41-year-old spent 11 seasons with the Cavaliers over two stints and led the team to its first championship in 2016.

The loss ended James’s 396-game run of double-digit scoring in Cleveland, though his longer NBA streak of scoring at least 10 points in regular-season games had already ended last season.

James also had seven rebounds and six turnovers, while Philadelphia fell to 8-2.

The Cavaliers focused on defending the paint, where James made two of six shots.

Philadelphia returns to Cleveland on March 1.
