Hanwha Aerospace showcases engines and drones at South Korean airshow

Hanwha Aerospace is exhibiting its aerospace technology at the 2026 Sacheon Airshow, which opened on October 22 in Sacheon, South Korea.

The show’s first space, aerospace and defence industry exhibition brings together 130 companies and institutions from South Korea and other countries.

Hanwha is displaying a model of an advanced aircraft engine planned for development for a next-generation fighter, as well as an engine developed in South Korea for unmanned aircraft.

Its displays also include a short take-off and landing unmanned aircraft called Mojave STOL and interceptor drones launched from canisters.

In space, the company is showing Nuriho, South Korea’s launch vehicle, which has completed its fifth launch.

The displays highlight Hanwha’s work in aircraft engines, unmanned systems and launch vehicles, and the company says it will also stress the importance of cooperation across the industry.
