Former South Korean Official Reports 2.76 Trillion Won in Assets

The total was 1.17 trillion won higher than his previous disclosure, made public in March and based on assets at the end of last year.
Lee registered his assets after leaving his post as governor of North Pyongan Province in the Committee for the Five Northern Korean Provinces.
Rising stock values accounted for most of the increase, with the declared value of his listed shares rising by about 1.16 trillion won.

He had the highest total assets and largest increase among 82 retired officials whose financial details were disclosed.
