Émilien Jacquelin will race for Decathlon-CMA CGM in 2027

Émilien Jacquelin will stay with Decathlon-CMA CGM for 2027, extending his move into professional cycling.

The 31-year-old Frenchman is an Olympic champion in biathlon relay and has also won five world titles in the sport.

After taking a break from biathlon, he returned to cycling, which he had practised when he was younger.

He plans to skip the 2026–27 biathlon season and focus on cycling instead.

Decathlon-CMA CGM gave him a place as a trainee from August and entered him in several races as a teammate.

His decision to stay is described as a sporting choice, and he turned down interest from two other French teams.

He is expected to continue with the team in 2027, with the extension reported to be for at least one year.
