Greggs’ Festive Bake sets a single-day sales record on launch
Greggs’ Festive Bake set its highest single-day sales ever on the first day it was available this year.
The pastry returned nationwide on Thursday, two weeks earlier than in previous years.
Greggs said it had moved the launch forward because it believed people wanted festive food sooner.
The record start puts Greggs on course to sell more Festive Bakes than ever this season, although the company has not confirmed final sales.
The 2026 version includes chicken, ham hock, bacon, soft cheese and pork stuffing in sage and cranberry sauce, wrapped in puff pastry.
Greggs’ full festive menu is now available in shops nationwide, with orders also offered through its app and delivery services.
