South Bow reports US$99-million third-quarter profit

South Bow reported US$99-million in third-quarter profit, up from US$93-million in the same quarter a year earlier.

Revenue also rose, reaching US$503-million compared with US$461-million.

The Calgary-based crude oil pipeline operator spun off from TC Energy in late 2024.

South Bow and U.S. partner Bridger Pipeline are developing a cross-border system that would use some dormant infrastructure from the defunct Keystone XL project.

South Bow expects to spend US$65-million on predevelopment this year and another US$65-million next year.

The companies expect to make a final investment decision in mid-2027.

South Bow says it may speed up spending as regulatory certainty and permit durability improve.
