New Zealand beat Samoa 32-0 to reach seventh straight World Cup final

New Zealand beat Samoa 32-0 in the women's Rugby League World Cup semifinal in Newcastle, Australia.

The win sends the Kiwi Ferns to their seventh straight World Cup final, extending a run that began with the tournament's first edition in 2000.

Stacey Waaka scored three tries, while Mackenzie Wiki, Mele Hufanga, Kaiyah Atai and captain Raecene McGregor also scored.

Samoa could not turn chances into points, including a spell with four straight sets near New Zealand's goal line.

New Zealand has won three world titles, but its three finals since 2008 have all ended in defeat.

The final opponent is still undecided: New Zealand will face Australia or Fiji, who meet in the other semifinal.
