REDMAGIC Astra 2 Review Finds a Powerful, Compact Gaming Tablet
REDMAGIC’s Astra 2 is a compact Android tablet built mainly for gaming.
Its 9.06-inch size makes it easier to hold than the larger tablets many brands now sell.
A Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and active liquid cooling help it sustain performance during long gaming sessions.
The OLED screen can refresh at up to 185 times per second, though few games make use of that speed.
The review also notes weak cameras, preinstalled apps and a short software-update commitment outside Europe.
That makes the Astra 2 a specialist choice rather than a general-purpose replacement for an iPad.
