Two tractors collided in Schachen bei Reute in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden on Tuesday, 3 November.
A 60-year-old man was driving one tractor with a manure spreader towards Büriswilen when he met a 54-year-old tractor driver coming the other way.
The tractors hit each other while passing shortly after the village exit on Schwendistrasse.
The 60-year-old’s tractor suffered serious damage to its rear axle, left the road and stopped on a sloping field.
No one was injured, but damage reached tens of thousands of francs across the two tractors.
