India's October GST collections rise 22.9% to ₹2.31 trillion

GST is the tax on goods and services, and the total was the second-highest monthly collection on record, after April.

The faster rise in import-related tax shows imports contributed more to revenue growth, though the figures do not explain whether that came from higher import volumes or values.
