Brent crude settles at $103.60, its lowest level in four weeks

Oil prices fell to a four-week low, with Brent crude settling at $103.60 per barrel on November 3.

Brent is a global oil benchmark, and its futures are contracts tied to the price of oil for delivery later.

Brent futures fell $1.17, or 1.1%, from the previous settlement.

US benchmark West Texas Intermediate, or WTI, also declined, settling at $96.09 per barrel.

WTI fell 37 cents, or 0.4%.

Earlier, on November 2, Brent briefly dropped below $104 per barrel for the first time since October 15, then recovered somewhat; the figures describe different trading sessions.

Both benchmarks ended lower, but the sources give no reason for the price moves or indicate what may happen next.
