Agent questions Utkin’s role at FC Krasnodar

Agent Timur Gurtskaya questioned Utkin’s place at Krasnodar, saying the midfielder lacks the qualities to be a key player at a top Russian Premier League club.

Gurtskaya made the remarks on the online show “This Is Football, Brother!”

He compared Krasnodar with rivals Dynamo, Zenit and Spartak, naming players he sees as key figures at those clubs.

Utkin is a graduate of Krasnodar’s academy and made his first-team debut in 2018.

He returned to Krasnodar as a free agent after leaving Rostov in June 2026.

His contract with Krasnodar runs until summer 2029.

Krasnodar are fifth with 22 points after 11 rounds, and no further decision about Utkin’s role was stated.
