Alexandra Trusova says she will not resume contact with her father
Figure skater Alexandra Trusova says she has not spoken to her father for two years.
In an interview for the Okko series “The Tutberidze Method,” she said she does not want to resume contact.
She says his words and actions damaged her confidence and affected her career.
Trusova also said she was grateful to both parents, crediting her mother with shaping her as an athlete and her father with helping the family move from Ryazan to Moscow.
The 2022 Olympic silver medallist has returned to competition after giving birth to her son in 2025.
