Black Flag Resynced Adds New Game Plus and Nightmare Mode
Ubisoft released the final major update for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The update adds New Game Plus, letting players start the story again with many items and upgrades from a completed playthrough.
Some things do not carry over: quest items are removed, and players must retake forts as the map resets.
New Game Plus can be played up to five times, with each run becoming harder and bringing a new currency for exclusive items.
The update also adds Nightmare Mode, where enemies hit harder, react faster and can kill players instantly in some situations.
It includes new community chests, cosmetics and takedown animations, alongside bug fixes.
Ubisoft says it will share an update on the Assassin’s Creed franchise’s future on 29 October, though it has said not to expect major reveals.
