Flávio Bolsonaro proposes Pix rewards for household bill payments
Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign proposed a Pix rewards plan on Tuesday, five days before Brazil’s presidential run-off.
The plan, called Vira Pix, would return part of payments for bills, instalments and fees made through Pix.
Campaign coordinator Daniella Marques said it would be created with Caixa Econômica Federal and offered nationwide.
The campaign has not said which payments qualify, how much people would get back, when they would receive it or how the plan would be funded.
Brazil’s approved tax reform has a separate cashback scheme for low-income households, set to begin in 2027.
