Arrowmax's AI screwdriver raises over $164,000 on Kickstarter
Arrowmax's Arrowspace S1 is an electric screwdriver designed to identify screws with a camera and AI software.
It recommends a matching bit and automatically selects a torque setting, which controls how tightly a screw is turned.
The Kickstarter campaign has raised more than $164,000, far above its original target of just under $11,500.
A full kit includes 52 bits and an optional Smart Case that lights up the compartment holding the recommended bit.
The tool is aimed at precision repairs on electronics, watches, eyewear and drones.
The screwdriver alone starts at about $79, while a package with the case and bits costs about $129, depending on the pledge tier.
Deliveries are expected to begin in April 2027.
As with other crowdfunding projects, production or shipping could be delayed, or the product may not work as advertised.
