Old Hemeti video resurfaces as Sudan investigates border incident
A video showing Sudanese paramilitary leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemeti, warning that airports in neighboring countries could be targets has resurfaced online.
It was recorded in October 2025, not in response to recent reports about airstrikes near the Egypt-Sudan border.

What people are saying
We have been silent for a long time... Any aircraft taking off from any airport in a neighboring country, any aircraft that takes off, strikes, kills, any drone taking off from any airport, that airport is a legitimate target for us.
Protecting the lives of Sudanese citizens and safeguarding their safety and dignity is an inherent responsibility of the state.
