Air Canada removes five US routes from its 2027 schedule
Air Canada has removed five US routes from its 2027 schedule.
The cancelled routes are Montreal to Seattle, Toronto City to Boston, Vancouver to Nashville, Vancouver to Raleigh-Durham, and Toronto Pearson to Charleston.
Several of the routes had only recently started, with three beginning in 2025 or 2026.
Air Canada still plans to serve Seattle, Boston, Nashville and Raleigh-Durham from other Canadian cities, but Charleston will no longer have Air Canada service.
Higher fuel costs and the routes’ leisure focus may have contributed to the cuts, while the Vancouver routes also had higher operating expenses.
Air Canada is adding other US connections, including Edmonton to Newark and Montreal to Indianapolis, and plans to return to Louisville from Toronto Pearson.
