Neha Sharma warns of legal action over AI images using her likeness

Indian actor Neha Sharma warned against AI content using her face in a post on social media on October 17.

She said she had not given permission for her likeness to be used in AI-generated videos or images.

She demanded that existing content be taken down and asked people not to create or share more.

Sharma said the material could misrepresent her or harm her reputation.

She warned she would take legal action against anyone who creates, posts or circulates it, including people using fake accounts.

Her warning comes amid wider concern about AI identity misuse, with other Indian actors also turning to courts to protect their images and voices.

Sharma has called for the content to be removed; she said those responsible should expect legal action.
