Netflix releases trailer for Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte’s Akka

Netflix has released the trailer for Akka, a series starring Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte.

It is set in the fictional kingdom of Pernuru, where powerful families have ruled for generations.

Suresh plays Bhavani, who seeks to protect her legacy, while Apte plays Rudra, whose ambitions challenge the established order.

Their rivalry puts the kingdom’s balance at risk as loyalties are tested and old wounds return.

The series centres on women who hold power, with themes of family, loyalty and revenge.

Akka premieres on Netflix on October 30, 2026.
