Police investigate 33-year-old man's death at motel in Catanduva

A 33-year-old man died in a motel suite in Catanduva, in Brazil's São Paulo state, and police are investigating.

He was there with his girlfriend and a 47-year-old man identified as a pastor.

The three arrived in the late afternoon and consumed alcohol and drugs in the suite.

After an argument, the woman waited in a car, then returned when she heard glass break and found her boyfriend on the floor.

The pastor tried to revive him, but later drove through the motel gate and fled after staff stopped him from leaving while the room was occupied.
