CBA uses Atlassian tools to pursue $400m in AI benefits
CBA is using Atlassian’s Strategy Collection to connect the bank’s overall priorities with teams’ daily work.
The bank says it wants to become a world leader in AI banking.
It recorded about $200 million in AI benefits in the last financial year and is targeting $400 million this financial year.
The tools are intended to show how team actions contribute to the bank’s wider goals and help leaders track progress and assign resources.
CBA first tested the system in two departments last September, but stopped the trial before its planned end because both organisations were not ready for a wider rollout.
They tried again in March, when CBA moved more than 9,000 goals into the system and trained its top 20 percent of staff within six weeks.
CBA says it is also using AI in areas including customer experience, fraud and scam prevention, financial crime, cybersecurity and productivity.
