Vinitaly.USA opens in New York with 300 Italian wine companies

Vinitaly.USA opened in New York for its third edition, running through the following day at Pier 36.

The event brings together 300 Italian wine companies and showcases 2,500 labels.

The United States is a key market for Italian wine, with 35 million US consumers already drinking it.

The industry sees room to grow: more than 50 million of the nearly 90 million regular wine drinkers in the US may be interested in Italian products.

Organizers say New York can help Italian producers reach more US buyers, and that cooperation between businesses and institutions is important to their competitiveness.

Italy’s wine exports reached a record €7.8 billion in 2025, and the government says it will continue supporting international promotion.
