Pakistan players’ Abu Dhabi T10 participation in doubt over NoC fees

Pakistan players’ Abu Dhabi T10 participation in doubt over NoC fees

The Pakistan Cricket Board is seeking $10,000 per player for No-Objection Certificates, or NoCs, for Pakistani cricketers to play in the Abu Dhabi T10.

The tournament is due to start on November 7 in Abu Dhabi, and several Pakistan players have signed with its teams.

The league has refused to pay the fee, and players may have to cover it themselves if they want to take part.

That leaves the participation of players including Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah and Fakhar Zaman in doubt.

A NoC is the board’s permission for players to join overseas leagues, and similar fee disputes have arisen over other competitions.

The dispute could keep contracted Pakistan players out of the tournament if the fee is not paid.

The PCB has not commented on the current issue, and the sources do not say whether the players or league will pay.
