Juicy Finau joins World Elite Sumo’s November 21 tournament

Professional wrestler Juicy Finau has signed to compete in World Elite Sumo’s next tournament.

The November 21 event will take place in Orlando, Florida, at the Caribe Royale Orlando.

It is planned as a one-night, 12-man open-weight sumo tournament, bringing together athletes from sumo and other sports.

Finau, 30, is from Chino, California, and has previous World Elite Sumo experience as well as a professional wrestling career.

Two previously announced competitors, Brennen Moorefield and Jakob Alekseyev, have withdrawn; Moorefield cited a training injury, while no reason was given for Alekseyev’s withdrawal.

First-round matchups have not been announced, and the promotion continues to advertise a 12-man field.
