Turkey’s transport minister praises infrastructure investment and Erdoğan’s leadership

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu spoke at an AK Party meeting in Çankırı, Turkey.

He said the country had made $355 billion in transport investments during 24 years of AK Party-led governments.

Uraloğlu cited roads, tunnels, bridges and railways, and said Turkey had Europe’s sixth-largest and the world’s eighth-largest high-speed rail network.

He also said Turkey had moved to 5G and that people in villages now ask for better internet access.

Uraloğlu credited President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with making Turkey a “safe island” amid regional instability, and said Erdoğan could solve the country’s problems.

He said the government would continue working to deliver services across Turkey.
