Deutsche Börse expands trading in all 40 DAX stocks to 24 hours

Deutsche Börse has expanded trading in all 40 DAX stocks to round-the-clock access.

The DAX is Germany’s main stock index, and the change lets retail investors place orders at night and on weekends.

The new service uses 360X, a trading platform partly owned by Deutsche Börse and Commerzbank.

360X will handle orders overnight and at weekends, while Xetra continues to serve the main European trading hours.

Xetra’s regular trading runs from 9 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m., with extended hours for retail investors from 8 a.m.

to 10 p.m.

since December 2025.

Xetra’s core processes and auction cycles remain unchanged, and prices on 360X outside its hours will not affect Xetra’s opening prices or auctions.

The service gives investors more time to trade, but the company has not said what further steps will follow.
